The Easter proclamation ‘Christ is truly risen from the dead’ is the most important proclamation of the Church. Today, let us celebrate with a joy that is real, for hope has been given to us, hope that nobody can take from us.

Good Friday stands apart in the Christian calendar as a day marked by sorrow, silence, and solemnity. It is a time for fasting and prayer, a day when we pause and contemplate the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the mystery of His love.

This Maundy Thursday, as we remember Jesus’ loving service, we are invited to do likewise: to serve with kindness, to kneel in humility, and to let our tenderness encircle all whom we meet.
