Mildmay Hospital is a small specialist NHS hospital in Shoreditch, east London. We provide rehabilitation and care for people living with complex HIV and HIV-associated neurological disorders (HAND), and step-down care for people experiencing homelessness who are recovering from illness or injury and specialist detoxification, post-detoxification stabilisaton and rehabilitation.
Our multidisciplinary team is small enough that every member of staff has a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. If you are looking for a role where specialist knowledge is valued and clinical relationships matter, Mildmay is worth your attention.
Why work at Mildmay Hospital
Working at Mildmay means being part of a genuinely multidisciplinary team in a setting where HIV and complex care expertise is central to everything we do. The hospital has been at the forefront of HIV care in the UK since the 1980s, and that history shapes the way we work: with dignity, with specialism, and with an understanding of the particular challenges our patients face.
Because we are a small hospital, staff here tend to develop broad skills alongside their clinical specialism. There is room to contribute beyond a single role, and decisions are made close to the ground. We actively support continuing professional development and have a strong track record of staff progression.
