At Mildmay Hospital, we are proud to recognise and honour our staff and patients' cultural and spiritual celebrations.

Today, we mark Eid al-Adha, one of the holiest days in the Islamic calendar. It is a time of prayer, family, gratitude, and giving.

We were especially mindful of our patients who are spending Eid away from their families this year. Small gifts and a card from the Chaplaincy Team are our way of acknowledging his celebration and showing that, at Mildmay, no one is alone on important days like this.

We also extend our warmest blessings to our Muslim colleagues who are taking the day to celebrate with their loved ones.

Eid al-Adha is a public holiday in many Muslim countries. In 2025, it begins on the evening of Friday, 6 June and ends on Tuesday, 10 June. We extend warm greetings, stand together in understanding and inclusion, and celebrate the rich diversity of our community.

Eid Mubarak from all of us at Mildmay.
