Christmas in hospital is always tough, but you can help Mildmay Mission Hospital make a real difference and bring a smile to patients by donating to our Presents for Patients appeal, helping to ensure that every patient receives a gift on Christmas Day.
Every year, Mildmay has many patients who cannot go home for Christmas. Many of our patients have few social connections, and Christmas can be a challenging, lonely and isolating time for them.
To help bring a little light into the lives of our patients, we would like to give them Christmas presents, modest gifts like pyjamas, and little treats like toiletries or nice things to eat.
Any patients discharged between Christmas and New Year, who live alone or in a hostel, and have no family nearby, will be given a small hamper to take with them.
We need your help to do this, and so for the third year running, we call upon the generosity of our friends and supporters and ask you to donate to our Christmas Appeal.
Last year, you kindly donated just over £1,600 (and this is in addition to other appeals) which meant that everyone got a gift in their stocking!
