£31,878 – £42,046 per annum, inclusive

37.5hrs per week

Mildmay Mission Hospital remains at the forefront of care and development of services in relation to complex HIV related conditions, particularly HIV-related neuro-cognitive impairment (HNCI). Mildmay continues to develop innovative models of care based on experience and research.


In this exciting role, you will lead, motivate, train and develop the Estates and Facilities Assistants, Cleaners, Reception & Catering staff, in providing an efficient service for the Hospital and ensuring effective use of resources. The post holder will also organise and co-ordinate minor improvement and operational management of the Mildmay estate in accordance with its Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme (PPM).


The ideal candidate would be a Facilities Manager (FM) with more than two years managerial experience and at least five years in an Estate & facilities environment with specialist knowledge in Electricals and plumbing.


Ideally, you will have institutional experience in a hospital, clinic or residential accommodation.


You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, have a hands-on approach, along with the ability to manage budgets.
