We're pleased to publish our Quality Account 2025–26, outlining how Mildmay continues to deliver specialist rehabilitation and care across our inpatient pathways, for people living with HIV-related conditions and for patients experiencing homelessness, substance misuse and other complex needs.
This year's Quality Account has been reviewed by our lead NHS commissioner, NHS North East London Integrated Care Board, who confirmed it presents a fair reflection of our quality priorities, achievements and challenges over the year, and welcomed our continued commitment to caring for people with complex needs.
Highlights from this year's report include:
The successful piloting of a new Intermediate Care Pathway for rough sleepers with drug and alcohol dependencies, developed in partnership with the London Regional Homeless Engagement and Support Teams (RhEST) — recognised by the ICB as aligning with system priorities to reduce health inequalities.
A marked increase in HIV admissions from North Central London ICB, following targeted education sessions for referring clinical teams.
A continued reduction in falls, part of our ongoing application of the NHS Patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
Strong patient feedback throughout the year.
