Making a Difference: volunteer as a 'befriender'

Mildmay is committed to providing the best possible care for its patients, and volunteers play a vital role in this.

There are a variety of volunteering opportunities available at Mildmay Mission Hospital, but right now, we are particularly seeking 'befrienders' for a couple of hours in the evenings and weekends to befriend patients, providing them with companionship and support. This can be especially important for patients who are feeling lonely or isolated.

Volunteering at Mildmay Mission Hospital is a really rewarding experience. It is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people facing some of the most challenging health challenges. Volunteers also have the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and become involved in a supportive community.
