In this exciting role, you will lead, motivate, train and develop the Estates and Facilities Assistants, Cleaners, Reception & Catering staff, in providing an efficient service for the Hospital and ensuring effective use of resources. The post holder will also organise and co-ordinate minor improvement and operational management of the Mildmay estate in accordance with its Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme (PPM).
The ideal candidate would be a Facilities Manager (FM) with more than two years managerial experience and at least five years in an Estate & facilities environment with specialist knowledge in Electricals and plumbing.
Ideally, you will have institutional experience in a hospital, clinic or residential accommodation.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, have a hands-on approach, along with the ability to manage budgets.
