Yesterday’s church service Gospel reading portrays Jesus in a rage, fit to be tied is the expression I would use!
This emotion is not wrong in itself as there are things in life that we should get angry about. What about injustice, inequality, human trafficking, physical and mental abuse and so on? John 2:25 says, ‘There was no need for anyone to tell Jesus about them, because he himself knew what was in their hearts.’
In other words, it’s what’s in the heart that counts. What’s in our hearts today?
